MiMi is a software MIDI controller.You can click and drag on the pad and send MIDI data assigned to the position on the pad.Especially,you can use graphics tablet and can control datas with pen pressure and tilt angle.

Who is MiMi for:
･Who feel limitation with using volume controller and slider.
･Who has enough money to buy expensive hardware MIDI controller.
(MiMi would not be a full substitute,but you can find someting new in MiMi.)
･Who want check MIDI instrument output without MIDI keyboard or so.)
･Who want to cotrol 2 or more control datas at the same time.
(For example:cutoff and resonance of filter)
･Who want to have a new instrument with characteristic sound.
(You need extra sound generator.)
･And all curious people....

You can:
Send MDI data with mouse and graphics tablet.
･Control Change(modulation wheel,pan or some effect that your sound generator have)
･Note (3 modes)
･Pitch bend(range could be set,and you can adjust pitchbend value to fit with note position)

Graphics tablet:
You can use following value for control MIDI.
･pen pressure ･tilt angles for X/Y directions
We recommend that you use graphics tablet to control with rich expression.
(We tested pen device,but not checked another device such as airbrush controller)

System:
･Macintosh with PowerPC microprocessor

We checked follwing system:

PowerMacintosh G4/350MHz (AGP) +OS8.6J

OS,Driver:
･MacOS 8.6,9.0,9.04,9.1(We habven't checked other OS)
'Classic' environment of Mac OS X is out of support
･Open Music System(OMS)2.0 or later (required)
･Tablet driver(WACOM Co.,Ltd.) if you use graphics tablet
The most new driver is recommended.

Application software,MIDI instrument,Peripheral:
MIDI sequence software,software synthesizer and MIDI instrument that is controllable with OMS.
MiMi can work only with graphic tablet of WACOM.We checked following tablets.
USB:intuos and graphire ADB:ArtPad II
Other WACOM graphics tablets are not checked.Check them with demo version of MiMi.

Attention:
If you have trouble concerned with OMS or graphics tablet when you don't use MiMi,performance of MiMi would not be good.Take care of your system to be equipped using these manuals or FAQ.

How to use demo and buy:

You can use MiMi as function-limited demo version before you register it.
Limitation of demo version:
Saving of setting/bank file and opening of setting file are unavailable.
